Recognizing the importance of transport infrastructure which is the most important of the economy, Bitexco is the pioneer private corporation in Vietnam to implement pilot highway construction projects in the form of public works PPP investment with support from the World Bank.
Bypassing Thanh Hoa Road Project
- Aim: Decrease traffic jam and traffic accidents in downtown area of Thanh Hoa city; regional socio-economic development.
- Investment form: BOT contract.

The project of a road surrounding the memorial monument of Chu Van An, Thanh Tri district was invested in the form of BT contract (Bitexco built and transferred to the Government for management and operation). Moreover, Bitexco had conditions for investment in the Southern urban area project on Ring Road 3, Hanoi.
The project started in May 2014, including two transportation routes: route No. 1 is 2.54km in length, route 5 is 1.2km in length.
Bitexco is the first enterprise selected by the Government and the World Bank as the first investor of the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet Expressway Project. At the time of carrying out the research phase, this is a project to pilot the implementation of the model of investment cooperation between the State and Private (PPP) in Vietnam.
