Last May 13th, in Hue City, My An Tourism Joint Stock Company and the Kawara (Japan) signed the management contract agreement for Kawara My An Onsen Resort.
Attendants in the signing ceremony are some representatives of Thua Thien Hue province authorities: Mr. Le Huu Minh – Acting Director of Department of Tourism; Mr. Hoang Viet Trung – Vice Director of Department of Planning & Investment; etc.
The Kawara My An Onsen Resort invested by My An Tourism JSC – a member of Bitexco Group with the investment cost of nearly 600 billion dong would be under operational management of Kawara Resort (Japan).
Kawara My An Onsen Resort is 7km away from Hue City, close to the My An hot spring in My An hamlet, Phu Duong commune, Phu Vang district, Thua Thien Hue province. The resort with Onsen are using the My An hot mineral spring with different mineral, especially the sulfur can help to improve health and function recovery, aging prevention and treatment of some deceases like chronic high blood pressure, backache, nervous depression, muscle inflammation, arthritis, skin nourishment, etc.
“The resort operated by Japanese onsen standards and managed by the Japanese people is expected to offer health care and accommodation services at international standard to deliver a differently new tourism product to attract more visitors to Hue, extend their staying time and improve the consumption of visitors”, said Mr. Dang Manh Cuong – Director of My An Tourism JSC.
The resort is expected to welcome approximately 600,000 visitors in which a half is for international visitors and remaining for local visitors. The resort consists of the 4 storey hotel with 92 rooms, 6 detached and semi-detached villas, the Onsen and the restaurant, conference room, etc.
According to Mr. Le Huu Minh – Acting Director of the provincial Department of Tourism, the Kawara My An Onsen Resort after operation is expected to be an unique and ideal place for health care and resort services to partly contribute to the general development of tourism sector in Hue and the mid region of the country.
Construction commenced in 9/2018 on the 3.5ha land, the Onsen is estimated to be operational by Q4/2019 and the Hotel and villas would be officially operational by Q2/2020.
