BITEXCO is proud to be the first domestic private enterprise and also the first Vietnamese enterprise besides PetroVietnam to invest in the field of oil and gas exploration. In addition, Bitexco is cooperating with some partners to study investment opportunities in oil and gas industry in Vietnam and other countries such as Indonesia, Myanmar, Peru, Russia etc

In the coming time, Bitexco will continue to cooperate with experiened partners in this field to expand investment with the goal of developing investment and oil and gas exploitation to make it one of long-term key business fields of the Group.

BITEXCO owns 15% of shares in the joint venture of exploration of Ca Tam Field Lot 09-3 / 12 together with partners: PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation - PVEP, Vietsovpetrol - VSP. The successful exploration began 25/1/2019. Lot 16-1/15 is under research.
